Herky Hunting Finale! {All 84 checked off!}

We resumed our hunt on Sunday after church (with one day to spare!) on the East side of IC. (Braden changed into his Jersey after church - ha!)  Here's Happy Little Herky by Scott Blvd (think Bob Ross!  happy little clouds . . .)

Biker Herky - the kids were very intrigued by his real bike!

Gladiator Herky . . .

And finally - number 84!  The Golden Herky on Melrose!  This Herky was put on parade midway through June, I think, and at first was in a secret location and they gave out prizes for the first hunters who found him.  He was originally on the Sutliff Bridge past Solon, so we were happy to have him close by in the heart of Hawkeye country near Kinnick.

We were realllyyyy hoping there would be other hunters out so that we could get a family picture with the Golden Herky (yes, we did dress to match!) . . . and after waiting only a few minutes, someone else showed up and graciously took our photo. :)

Whew!  What a FUN adventure!  (just ask Billy - wink wink!)
