{Elise was climbing up a big ladder that Billy had gotten out to change out some lightbulbs in our bedroom}
Braden: "Ohhhhh Elisey, that is DANGEROUS! I will give you a hand!"
{While shopping, we were browsing some summer items on clearance and I found a Spiderman towel.
Me: "Braden, would you like this Spiderman towel for going to the pool?"
Braden: "Yeah, Mom. That will do."
Braden has taken to using more adjectives and adverbs in his speech, but sometimes doesn't get them quite right. A common phrase we hear these days is:
"I very want to . . ." or "I very need . . ." (using very instead of "really")
{Friday night we were talking about the Hawkeye football season opener on Saturday, and told B that he should be ready to cheer for the Hawkeyes. } B immediately went and got his Tanner Hawkeye build-a-bear (named after M-P alum, Tanner Miller who is currently on the team), and said, "Yeah, we'll cheer for Tanner and Turkey!" We were confused, so B clarified for us, "You know, that big yellow Turkey guy." Aaahhh - HERKY! :)
