It's Memorial Day weekend, and summer has officially arrived (so it's kind of ironic that I am going back to work - for one day! - on Tuesday . . . but I digress. . . ). Summer's here - and the pool is OPEN! Our very favorite place to spend sunny summer days (for Braden and I, at least).
Braden has been asking for a few weeks now when we can go to the pool, and was so excited to be able to skip nap time and hit the pool today for the first time this season. He's still a little fish, and jumped right in, and is even tall enough to be able to touch bottom till the first rope this year! B also swam across the pool without stopping/touching bottom!
Miss Elise got to dip her toes in the pool for the first time ever today too when she and Daddy stopped by for a little bit after her nap! (Unfortunately we didn't get a good photo to document her first pool visit - it is hard to take a picture when you can't see the image in the screen due to the bright sun). Hopefully she'll be a fan of the water too! (She sure looked cute in her swim gear) :)
