Elise: 2 months

Today is Elise's 2 month birthday!  At 2 months, Elise:

• has grown out of most of her newborn clothes, and is currently wearing size 0-3 months . . .  while it was very sad for mommy to pack up those newborn clothes, little miss sure does have an adorable 0-3 mth wardrobe!

• is "talking!"  Elise has started to coo, and it is just too sweet to listen to her.  She's been cooing for a little over a week now

• is graduating from newborn diapers to size ones

• is very close to rolling over (back to tummy)

• has settled into a more consistent night routine of taking a little nap after an 8 or 9 o'clock feeding, then eating again around 11 and sleeping till around 7.  If we pop in a binky when she wakes up in the morning, we can usually get at least another 30 minutes of sleep ;)

• eats between 4-5 oz bottles; is stretching from 3-4 hours between some feedings (usually takes a nice solid 4 hour early afternoon nap, with more awake time in the late morning and late afternoon)

• tolerates her loving big brother wanting to kiss and touch her all of the time . . . he still loves to "help"

Tomorrow is E's 2 mth check up with Dr. Miller, so we'll find out her official weight and growth percentiles.  At  Braden's 2 mth check up, he was actually 10.5 weeks old and weighed 11 lbs, 13 oz and was right at the 50% percentile for weight.  I am guessing Elise might be a little bigger than he was - she suddenly seems like a "baby" instead of a "newborn."

It's been a long time since I've uploaded a video, so I hope this works.  We caught E chatting with her monkey last night before bedtime ;)
