Happy Halloween!

Braden chose his costume this year . . . a burger! (or hang-a-burger) as he called it.

Evidently B remembered exactly what happens on Halloween, because as soon as we got out his treat pail from last year, he was ready to go and get some treats!

(Here in Kalona we trick or treat on Thursday, regardless of when Halloween actually falls - so although it's not yet the 31st, we've already had our night of fun!)

B and B heading across the street . . .

I stayed home to greet our "guests" and hand out candy for while, and the boys went out - B just couldn't wait. :)  Later on, I joined them to pay visits to Great Grandma, G&G Miller, Auntie Allie, and to stop in at the Halloween party at the Rec Center.

Braden got pretty good at saying "Trick or Treat"at the houses we visited - and when we got back into the car he'd immediately ask to "eat a treat, Mom."
