party on!

Apparently it has taken me a few days to recover from all birthday excitement and upload the pics. ;)  

It was fun to see Braden really enjoy his party this year - he was so happy to see so many of the people he loves in one place.

We celebrated with extended family on Sunday evening at Old Chicago - yum!

This year's cake - Cars!

Braden definitely "gets" the present concept!  Cousin Aidan did a great job helping him unwrap and read the cards.

We celebrated B's actual birthday on Monday at our house with some of his favorite foods for supper (grilled burgers, jello with fruit, and mac and cheese).

 After supper we took advantage of the gorgeous fall weather we've been enjoying, and did one of B's favorite things - rode his trike to the playground to play.

The leaves on our street are so pretty right now!

After the bike ride, we came home and enjoyed cake #2 - Curious George.

 Then more presents from Mommy and Daddy . . .

 He loves his new "compooter" - now he can push all the buttons he wants! (Braden loves to "push the buttons" on my laptop, which is not always helpful).  Grandma Jane, the former typing teacher, thought it was cute how he knew just how to put his hands on the keyboard!
