summer days

Although today is the first official day of summer, we've been in our "summer" routine for a few weeks now . . . B, E & I usually sleep in (well, at least until E wakes up - typically around 7:30ish), and spend our mornings at home, unless we have an appointment or it's storytime day at the library.  When the sun is out, we've been spending most afternoons at the pool - B loves the water and playing with other kids, I like getting out of the house, and luckily E just rolls with it and is pretty happy going wherever we take her.

We bought a new floatie for Elise - she seems to enjoy actually being in the water (not surprising, considering she adores bath time). . . and I like that she is protected from the sun without being stuck in the stroller.

I wasn't able to get a picture of B actually jumping in the water (his favorite pasttime), but got the before . . .

Though Miss E has fun with her new floatie, she still usually naps poolside - lookin' so sweet in her swim gear

Whenever E is on the blanket, you can bet that B will be nearby . . . so sweet.  Hope he's always this sweet to her :)
