Where have the weeks gone?! Suddenly we're already a week into July, and I haven't even gotten around to posting about happenings from June! (I'm working hard to get "caught up" - Auntie Allie's wedding is TOMORROW, and I'm excited to post about that asap. :)
So, without further adieu, a look back at June . . .
Kalona Days, 2012
B enjoying the parade and a cool drink!
E's first parade! She slept through most of it in Grandma's arms.
B soon left his comfy seat in pursuit of candy!
. . . and E woke up to join the festivities!
Braden was thrilled to get to ride the train!
Father's Day fell on the same weekend as Kalona Days this year. To celebrate, we joined the Miller extended family at City Park for a picnic lunch -- and the kiddos enjoyed the rides. B was super excited to ride another train!
One evening in June we enjoyed a picnic supper at the park in Washington, and Braden had a blast playing on the playground equipment. He was especially enthralled with the "digger"
Working hard . . .
Cheetos!
Back when the weather was pleasant (as opposed to the 100+ degree heatwave we've been experiencing lately), we had fun relaxing by the firepit in the evenings. Braden requested that we roast hot dogs and marshmallows, so we had our own little backyard bbq!
Miss Elise is growing like a weed, and thinks she's big stuff! We got an exersaucer for her, and she loves it!
