No school today. See you in July!
Ha. But seriously, 6 snow days already?! Yikes!
So, how did we spend today?
Unfortunately my text did not arrive until after I had showered, but that didn't stop me from putting my PJs back on and climbing back into bed. Braden and I slept in . . . for a looonnngg time. Wonderful.
There's something about icky cold weather that makes me want to bake, so I made a batch of PB oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Yum! B became a fan of licking the beater. I also did laundry (do I ever not do laundry?), we read books, and just hung out at home.
The book club I'm in decided not to let the weather stop (most!) of us, so I did get to get out of the house to meet for supper and to discuss this month's book (A Change in Altitude by Anita Shreve - we all agreed it really isn't one of our favorites, mostly because the main character is just not someone we liked.)
I only had to drive a few blocks tonight, but it is really icy out there. . .
Wonder if we'll have another snow day tomorrow?
