As is our tradition, we enjoyed the Wellman 4th of July parade with the Hartsocks in the morning. I told Braden that we usually wear red, white, and blue clothes on the 4th - and he picked out his Spider-Man shirt and was thrilled that it fit the description. ;)
Having just been at the Kalona parade a couple of weeks earlier, the kids were very excited because the knew they'd get CANDY.
After lunch, we worked on our new fence (more on that later). We are soooo thankful that Billy's family helped us with that project.
We rested up a bit and then headed out for fireworks. The kids were pumped to do sparklers . . ..
I don't think I remember a cooler night on the 4th - when it got dark we bundled up in sweatshirts!
