We weren't sure we were going to make it to a county fair this year, but decided that it was on the "must do" list for summer - SO we left VBS a bit early one evening and went to the Johnson County fair. We took a swing through the animal pens, enjoyed some yummy fair food, then headed to the area Braden was not so patiently waiting for - the rides!
He was just SURE he wanted to go down this big slide by himself, and surprised us by going up to the top all alone, and then slid right down. We thought all went well, until he got back and was safely reunited with us and he burst into tears. "That was too too big!" he said.
After that we went for some tame-er rides . . . and found a few Elise was tall enough to ride too. Apparently I didn't photograph much more, though - the sun was setting and it's hard to take action shots in the dark with a phone.
After the fair we stopped at Paglai's for a lat night snack - yum!!
