splish splash! (again)

Ahh, another great day at the pool! We're going to go through serious pool withdrawl here in a couple of weeks.

Well, I test drove the waterproof camera today - think we'll like it! It was nice to be able to get good close up in-the-water pics like the one above without worrying about a wet camera. It was also fun to try some underwater pics . . .

Clearly there is a bit of a learning curve, though. I need to get used to aiming underwater (I didn't actually go under, just held the camera under), and also found that this camera has a bit of a delay between when you push the button and the picture is actually taken - so just a couple of things to get used to.

Also, (duh!) one has to be sure the lens is dry or water drops show up in the photos . . .

And - notice what B plays with the most at the pool . . his cars!

It is kinda hard to tell, but you can see his tongue out as he makes his brrrrrmmm car sounds.
