good stuff

I had an OB appointment mid day today, which meant that I took the whole day off (which in and of itself is kind of nice once in a while).
It ended up being a day full of good stuff:

• sleeping in
• snuggle time with Braden
• hearing baby girl's heartbeat again
• scheduling out the rest of my OB appointments until due date . . .  we're getting closer!  . . . and finding out we get to have another ultra sound in January (love them!  all is fine - Dr. just wants to double check baby's measurements to confirm due date.)
• a lab tech who did a most excellent job drawing blood (they always have trouble finding a vein) (here's hoping the results of the glucose test will also be "good stuff")
• shopping (sans impatient 3-year-old or hubby) at a not-so-crowded mall (love weekday shopping!) and finding some good deals and crossing another big chunk off my shopping list
• a kind shopper who shared a $10 off coupon with me because she couldn't use two
• coming home to a cozy and clean house (thanks to Billy who did some cleaning and laundry)
• a new episode of The Office
• reading a good book and enjoying the glow of the Christmas tree
• and finding out some exciting news (not quite ready to share - but will soon) :)
